John 10:6 Coloring Page for Kids

Welcome, young explorers and artists! Today, we're going on a wonderful Bible-based adventure with our John 10:6 coloring page for kids. Brace your crayons and let's dive right into the story of Jesus, the Good Shepherd. But first, let's find out why this verse is special.

John 10:6 tells us, "Jesus said to them, 'Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.' Jesus shared this metaphor to teach us about the path to God. Now, let's color and understand His message together!

Coloring the Sheep and the Gate

The sheep pen and the gate are the first things to draw and color in our John 10:6 coloring page. Imagine a cozy, safe home for the sheep, with a sturdy gate that keeps them secure. As you color, think about this protection and care that Jesus offers to us, His followers.

Remember, the gate represents Jesus. He is our door to a loving and safe relationship with God. As you add vibrant colors, let it remind you of Jesus' teachings: "I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved." (John 10:9)

The Wise Shepherd

Now, let's focus on coloring the wise shepherd – Jesus. He stands by the gate, watching over the sheep, ready to protect them from any harm. This is how Jesus cares for us too. Think about the colors that represent Jesus' kindness, love, and safety as you color Him in.

Just like a shepherd knows his sheep and even calls them by name (John 10:3), Jesus knows you personally and loves you deeply. Allow the colors you choose to reflect the warmth and comfort of His divine love.

The intervientHe

The thieves and robbers represent those who try to trick or mislead us. As you color in these figures, think about the importance of staying close to Jesus and not following wrong paths. Color these figures in dark or less appealing colors to represent their deceitful nature.

When you're done coloring, take a moment to discuss the differences between the gate (Jesus), the wise shepherd (Jesus), and the thieves. Talk about how Jesus protects us and keeps us safe, just like a good shepherd would.

Entering Through the Gate

Next up in our John 10:6 coloring page, color the sheep entering the sheep pen through the gate. This is a special moment that represents us accepting Jesus' teachings and following His path to God. Color the sheep with bright, happy colors to show their joy in finding the correct path.

While coloring, recall the verse from John 10:9: "I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved." As you add colors to the sheep, let it symbolize your own journey of finding salvation through Jesus.

The Safe Sheep Pen

The sheep pen is our final focus in this coloring page. As you color this cozy, secure home for the sheep, imagine being(contentedly within God's care. This is the ultimate goal for us, just as it is for the sheep in the parable.

When you're finished coloring, take a moment to admire your masterpiece! As you gaze at the John 10:6 scene, let it serve as a reminder of Jesus' love, protection, and the path to God. Keep this art on your wall to inspire you daily.
