Moses: A Hero's Journey

Meet the hero of our story, Moses. Born during a time when the Hebrews were enslaved in Egypt, Moses was sent down the Nile in a basket to protect him from Pharaoh's decree. Rescued by Pharaoh's daughter, he grew up in the Egyptian palace, only to learn of his true identity and destiny.

Our Moses-themed printables feature illustrations of baby Moses in his basket, his discovery by Pharaoh's daughter, and his presentation to the princess. These pages allow your children to color and learn about this pivotal moment in Moses' life.

The Burning Bush

The story of Moses continues at the burning bush, where he receives a divine call from God. This miraculous event marks the beginning of Moses' mission to free the Hebrews from their Egyptian captors.

Kids can bring the story of the burning bush to life with our printable activity. They can color a magnificent illustration of the bush engulfed in flames, with Moses watching in awe. The activity also includes a simple craft to create a bush-like sculpture using pipe cleaners and a cardboard base.

Ten Plagues and the Passover Feast

Moses' struggle against the Egyptians is chronicled in the ten plagues. From the blood turning into water to the death of the firstborn, these events showcase God's power and the importance of faith. The tenth plague, the death of the firstborn, is commemorated in the annual Passover Seder.

Our printables offer interactive ways to teach your children about these significant events. They can color illustrations of the plagues, such as the Nile turning into blood and locusts covering the land. Additionally, there's a Passover-themed word search and a crossword puzzle that reinforces the story's key elements.

The Crossing of the Red Sea

The most dramatic and awe-inspiring event in the exodus story is the parting of the Red Sea. With Moses stretching out his hand, the waters divide, allowing the Hebrews to cross on dry land while trapping the Egyptians in the sea.

Our Red Sea-themed printables capture the grandeur and excitement of this event. Kids can color a stunning illustration of the parted seas with the Hebrews walking safely through. They can also create a 3D seascape using blue and purple paper, glue, and cotton balls to represent the waters.

Miriam's Well and the Manna from Heaven

As the Hebrews journeyed through the desert, they faced challenges, including lack of water and food. In both instances, God provided for them: through Miriam's Well and manna from heaven.

Our printables help children understand these provisions. They can color an illustration of Miriam striking the rock to bring forth water. They can also create a craft representing manna collected in a basket, using salt dough, Mini Shreddie wheat cereal, and acetate sheets.

Encourage your children to explore our printables, color with creativity, and learn with enthusiasm. These engaging activities not only help them develop fine motor skills but also instill in them the values of courage, faith, and resilience, as demonstrated by Moses and the Hebrews.
